Drunk and lost in Tennessee Where else in the world would I be That would leave me so/ Sad and low But drunk and lost in Tennessee Honey it was just a little fight Wont you turn off that light I’ll tell you more in the morning This town should come with a warning And while I’m glad that you’re with me I don’t remember it clearly But I know come sunrise….I’ll..still…be… Drunk and lost in Tennessee Where else in the world would I be That would leave me so/ Sad and low But drunk and lost in Tennessee I know I started off fine Just having a good time What was it I was drinking That got me this far from thinking I can't say how I got here But it probably wasn’t light beer Now the trouble…that I’m in…is clear Drunk and lost in Tennessee Where else in the world would I be That would leave me so/ Sad and low But drunk and lost in Tennessee It seems each time I'm in this town I just can't put that bottle down I keep on breaking your heart These nights are tearing us apart And it seems that you can’t see that this will be the end of me Cause this aint the last time…that…I'll ..be Drunk and lost in Tennessee Where else in the world would I be That would leave me so/ Sad and low But drunk and lost in Tennessee Yeah I’m drunk and lost in Tennessee Where else in the world would I be That would leave me so/ Sad and low But drunk and lost in Tennessee

He caught the greyhound in Spokane Without anything much planned Just a trip for the weekend He never knew quite what happened At a Montana bus stop He saw her and his heart stopped A half shirt, a dead tooth There she stood by the ticket booth Just the right type of trashy, Just the right type of classy Who knew love could be found, On a southbound greyhound... Their love was one for the ages The kind they write on those romance book pages Whatever way she goes That's the way he goes As long as they both go From Billings to Pueblo She caught him looking in Cheyenne By Denver they were past holding hands Making out in the backseat Knowing they were finally complete Time was short but love is fast They knew it wasn't meant to last His ride would end in Amarillo She'd say goodbye to him in Pueblo Just the right type of trashy, Just the right type of classy Who knew love could be found, On a southbound greyhound... Their love was one for the ages The kind they write on those romance book pages Whatever way she goes That's the way he goes As long as they both go From Billings to Pueblo And they'd never forget And they'd never regret That they both took a bet On someone they just met Just the right type of trashy, Just the right type of classy Who knew love could be found, On a southbound greyhound... (Oh yeah they'd sing) our love Is one for the ages The kind that they write on those romance book pages Whatever way you go, that's the way I go As long as we both go from billings to pueblo Whatever way you go, that's the way I go As long as we both go from billings to pueblo

You've been on the road for weeks by now No end to it in sight The billboards start to catch your eye Need to try to sleep tonight the engine starts to whine and knock You take it as a sign Nowhere could be as bad As what you've left behind The mechanic seems resigned to life He tells you the bad news Parts you need are hard to find You can stay long as you choose There ain't nothing else for miles ahead You've seen all there was behind And although you start to feel unease You'll probably be just fine But the wind keeps blowing, like you've never heard before And something keeps on keeping you, from moving out that door It's like you've always been here It's always been the same You feel the slip of something cold Inside your brain You cry out to those lonely plains But no one hears a thing You're living and you're dying At the hotel with no name The old brick buildings tell the tale Of grander days they knew It all looks lovely here at first It's hard to tell what's true Are you just here by accident Luck of the draw they say Or is there something that brought you here And makes you need to stay The bottles start to pile inside Your lonely room for one Been days since their service came You're bout to come undone You make a vow, it's time to change It's time to leave this place But when you look in the mirror You're not sure you see your face But the wind keeps blowing, like you've never heard before And something keeps on keeping you, from moving out that door It's like you've always been here It's always been the same You feel the slip of something cold Inside your brain You cry out to those lonely plains But no one hears a thing You're living and you're dying At the hotel with no name But the wind keeps blowing, like you've never heard before And something keeps on keeping you, from moving out that door It's like you've always been here It's always been the same You feel the slip of something cold Inside your brain You cry out to those lonely plains But no one hears a thing You're living and you're dying At the hotel with no name You're living and you're dying At the hotel with no name You're living and you're dying At the hotel with no name

When I first saw you on that barstool I knew exactly what love means Although at first i was so ladylike I'm not exactly what I seem So I took you home that evening And I swore I’d make you mine And what feels likes decades later I’m still trying to find out why……. (there’s) All these ways you make me crazy All these ways you rile me up All these ways you mean the world to me And I never want to stop Now we’ve made it through the easy times Now we’re in the thick of things Now we’re hanging on for dear life And seeing what the future brings Now we’re in this for the long haul It’s what they call domestic bliss And every now and then you prove to me You know how to wash a dish (there’s) All these ways you make me crazy All these ways you rile me up All these ways you mean the world to me And I never want to stop (there’s) All these ways you make me crazy All these ways you rile me up All these ways you mean the world to me And I never want to stop No I never want to stop No I never want to…

Your words used to be the death of me Now your hypocrisy is all I see You'd claim I broke your little heart Well it was broken from the start But then I finally got wise And now I've gone and said goodbye Don't try to tell me what to do Because I'm done wasting time on you You think I care bout what you think Bout what I wear or what I drink Honey I just thought that I'd share I think it's cute you think I care You used to tell me what to do How to dress, who to talk to You used to tell me " youre all mine" But now I'm gone and I'm just fine You used to call me your baby And that's exactly how you saw me But now I'm done wasting my time I'm long gone and it's a crime...that. You think I care bout what you think Bout what I wear or what I drink Honey I just thought that I'd share I think it's cute you think I care I used to have to check with you Bout almost anything I'd do You'd have opinions that you'd share Bout the way I'd wear my hair And my clothes caused us such strife Babe I ain't no sister wife But now I've left and now I feel I got the best end of this deal You think I care bout what you think Bout what I wear or what I drink Honey I just thought that I'd share I think it's cute you think I care They say that love means you never say you're sorry, and it's true Because I'm pretty damn sorry I wasted so much time on you You think I care bout what you think Bout what I wear or what I drink Honey I just thought that I'd share I think it's cute you think I care You think I care bout what you think Bout what I wear or what I drink Honey I just thought that I'd share I think it's cute you think I care
